Hey guys, A little on posting this due to poor internet but here it is! Days 2 of the egg fast!Read more about what the keto diet is, what is an egg fast and what I did on day 1 here.
As mentioned in my previous post I didn’t follow all the rules however I did not cheat at all when it came my macros.
My Macros were as follows:
Fats: 108g (77%)
Proteins: 61g (20%)
Carbohydrates: 10g (3%)
Net Calories consumed: 964
The meal I had for aftar, I considered it as my breakfast meal.
1 cup of bulletproof coffee
Cheese omlette made of 2 eggs and 1 slice of cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon of butter
Two hours later I had combined both my snack and lunch:
2 eggs cheese omelette with 1 slice of mozzarella cheese
You do need to make sure that you intake a little bit of salt throughout the fast so that your electrolytes stay in balance.
The meal I had for sehri I considered as my dinner meal. I had:
Fried egg made with two eggs, one slice of cheddar cheese and 2 tablespoons coconut oil.
I checked my weight right after I woke up and it was down 4 pounds.
I also began to feel the ketosis symptoms a lot more. Hopefully this keto flu will pass quickly.
